WHO WE ARE

Community Development Capital (CD Capital) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) dedicated to transforming low-wealth communities across Louisiana.

OUR WORK

We finance the acquisition, pre-development, and construction of: Affordable housing, Multi-family developments, Commercial properties, and Mixed-use real estate.

OUR COMMUNITY

We accept investments from public and private sources in the form of grants, senior debt, and subordinated debt, and then provide financial assistance in the form of loans and equity to organizations either lacking access to or unable to afford the cost of capital from conventional sources. Financing is available to nonprofit organizations and for-profit real estate developers and investors.

More than 35,000 blighted properties once marked the landscape. While progress has been made, the need for affordable housing, commercial revitalization, and accessible capital remains urgent.
